You may have already guessed that Tashkent is the administrative, economic and cultural center of Uzbekistan. The most populous city in Central Asia, Tashkent is home to more than 2.5 million people. This is due to the fact that Tashkent is the largest industrial center of Uzbekistan, 20% of all production falls on the capital.
