Day 1: Arrival Ashgabat – Kow Ata underground lake
Arrival in the early morning at Ashgabat. Transfer to the hotel. Early check in. Overnight.
Then then start city tour including visits of National Museum, Independence Park, Neutrality Arch, Ferris Wheel, Constitution Monument, Earthquake Memorial, Ertogrul Gazi Mosque, Kow Ata underground lake. Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2: Ashgabat – Darwaza (300 km)
After breakfast visit Nissa (UNESCO) and Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum. If have some time visit local bazaar or Sunday Market (if Thu, Sat or Sun) on the way to Darwaza. After lunch time drive to Darwaza Gaz crater via 2 small craters (mud and water). Upon arrival have a delicious BBQ dinner near the burning crater. Set up the camp. Overnight in the camp.
Day 3: Darwaza – Kunya Urgench (UNESCO) – BP Shavat (350 km)
After camp style breakfast drive back to Kunya Urgench (UNESCO) for sightseeing. Then transfer to the BP Shavat (Khiva). After migration formalities cross Turkmen-Uzbek Border.
